Financial support of Summer Schools

DDc Summer Schools can be funded with max. 10.000 Euro/DDc Summer School.

The following criteria must be met:

• TU Dresden and at least one other DDc partner institution are involved in the organization and implementation of the Summer School.
• The topic of the Summer School usually addresses an interdisciplinary research topic.
• There will be at least one public event on the research topic during the Summer School.

Desirable aspects are:

• Reference to current exhibitions in DDc cultural institutions (Deutsches Hygiene Museum Dresden, Senckenberg Naturhistorische Sammlungen Dresden, Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden, Technische Sammlungen Dresden).
• Involvement of postdocs of the participating institutions in the realization of the Summer School

• Applicant and contact person
• Topic of the DDc Summer School
• Planned period of time
• Desired target group
• Description of the interdisciplinary orientation
• Previous participants and desired DDc cooperation partners
• Topic for a public event
• Possible cooperation with a museum, or exhibition topic
• Explanation of the need for funding
