DRESDEN-concept grows to 40 partner institutions
03.09.2024
In summer 2024, DRESDEN-concept gained three new partners: the German Cancer Research Center – Site Dresen, the University of Applied Sciences for Social Work, Education and Nursing (ehs) and HELLERAU – European Centre for the Arts.
This brings the number of DRESDEN-concept partner institutions to 40, including TUD Dresden University of Technology and regional institutions of the Max Planck Society, the Leibniz Association, the Helmholtz Association and the Fraunhofer Gesellschaft, as well as cultural institutions, universities of applied sciences and further research institutions.
The partner institutions work together by supporting the exchange and networking of researchers in Dresden across disciplinary and institutional boundaries and by identifying and exploiting synergies in research and teaching as well as infrastructure and administration, thereby jointly developing Dresden as a research location.
The new partner institutions enrich the alliance in cancer research, with teaching and research in the fields of social work, education and nursing as well as with a center for dance, performance, music, theater and media art.
