The Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG, German Research Foundation) has expanded its funding measures for scientists who have fled their home countries by opening up the Walter Benjamin Program.

- In addition, the DRESDEN-concept partners Leibniz IFW, HZDR, MPI-CPfS and MPI-PKS offer the Ukraine Scientific Scholarship Program Dresden (UKRAPRO) together with the Kiev Academic University (KAU). This offer is addressed to doctoral students, postdocs and senior scientists in the fields of experimental and theoretical condensed matter physics and materials science and chemistry.
