Talking Science! Regional Heat FameLab Germany: Dresden, March 1, 2023

Sign up now to participate in one of the most fun and entertaining science communication competitions: The regional heat FameLab Germany: Dresden will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, in Dresden. (Application deadline: February 28, 2023)

“FameLab – Talking Science” is an international competition to find the best new talent in science communication. The aim of FameLab is to encourage young scientists to inspire and excite the public’s imagination with a vision of science in the 21st century. On stage, candidates have only three minutes to present their topic to a panel of expert judges and to win over the non-scientific audience by being entertaining and original as well as scientifically accurate. (Presentations can be held in German or English.)

The winner and runner-up of FameLab’s regional heats will win 300 € / 200 € and both attend an exclusive Masterclass on Science-Communication and Media after which you’ll be ready for the FameLab Germany final on May 25 in Bielefeld. Winning the national final will open the door to the international arena. The renowned Cheltenham Science Festival offers the perfect stage for all national winners to enter the ring for the very final stage of FameLab International 2023.
