German Sustainability Award goes to HeatResilientCity

The HeatResilientCity project has won the German Sustainability Award for Research 2022. The transdisciplinary project is coordinated by the Leibniz Institute for Ecological and Regional Development (IOER). The DRESDEN-concept partners TU Dresden and HTW Dresden are as well involved. Together with other partners from Erfurt and Dresden, the project is researching how densely built-up urban districts and the people living there can be sustainably protected from summer heat.
