8th DDc lunch retreat “Taming WaterExtremes – Smart water systems in an extreme world” on September 24, 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon

With the DDc lunch retreats DRESDEN-concept has established a new format: key scientists from the DDc member institutions are invited to present future-oriented topics with a high scientific potential in order to get feedback and to sound out cooperation possibilities.
“Taming WaterExtremes – Smart water systems in an extreme world” is the title of the 8th DDc lunch retreat on September 24, 11:00 a. m. to 12:00 noon.
The keynote speakers will be

- Prof. Stefan Stolte (TUD)
- Prof. Markus Weitere (TUD/UFZ)
- Prof. Edeltraud Günther (UNU-FLORES)
- Prof. Jochen Schanze (IÖR)
The DDc lunch retreat will be moderated by Prof. Christian Bernhofer (TUD).
The meeting will be held in English as a videoconference (Zoom). All DDc-scientists are cordially invited to join and discuss with the key speakers.
