DRESDEN-concept Welcome Reception for International Researchers 2024

Dear researchers,
the DRESDEN-concept Welcome Center at TU Dresden is delighted to extend a special invitation to all DRESDEN-concept international researchers who have arrived in Dresden in the past year. Professor Dr. Ursula M. Staudinger, Chairwoman of DRESDEN-concept and Rector of TU Dresden, together with Dirk Hilbert, the Lord Mayor of Dresden, invite you and your partner or family to the DRESDEN-concept Welcome Reception for International Researchers
in the Plenary Hall of the New Town Hall (Neues Rathaus).

As you are surely aware, DRESDEN-concept is a research alliance with partners from science and culture. This cooperation facilitates the communication and visibility of the excellent research being carried out in Dresden. In particular, the collaboration between DRESDEN-concept partners aims at the development and use of synergies in research, education, infrastructure, and administration. Partners coordinate strategies to support Dresden’s leading academic areas and to identify new and emerging fields of research. The DRESDEN-concept alliance is also working on a joint initiative to attract the best researchers to Dresden. The City of Dresden itself is also an important partner for our alliance. That is why the Lord Mayor will host the event and welcome you at the Town Hall. The DRESDEN-concept Welcome Center at TU Dresden is very pleased to meet all new DRESDEN-concept international researchers at the New City Hall in the heart of the city.
