Change of plans due to rainforecast

Dear researchers,

due to the forecasted rain, we will meet at 12.45 p.m. and go directly to Schloss Wackerbarth for our Winetour! Please bring rainwear and some food and drink, if you like.

After the successes of recent years, the Welcome Center once again hikes in September through the vineyards of Radebeul and gives you an exclusive insight into the largest wine-growing in Saxony. Due to the sandstone soil, the plants are able to add valuable minerals to the fruits, which give the wine a very special taste.

Therefore, at the end of the hike, we want to conduct a wine tasting at Saxony’s largest and most exclusive wine merchant and to get to know the origin of the plants and their processing.

At the end of the day you will have the opportunity to go to the Radebeul Wine Festival, where international, individual and cosmopolitan artists will perform.

P.S: Please let us know if you want to join the wine tasting tour, but drink something non-alcoholic instead. We can order some juice instead of wine for you.
