The Frauenkirche (eng.: Church of our lady) is one of the most famous sights here in Dresden. After its construction between 1726 – 1743, it was destroyed in 1945 during World War 2. Fortunately, the church was rebuilt and after 11 years of construction, it was re-opened again in 2005.

We will go on a tour to the dome of the Frauenkirche which offers us a spectacular view over Dresden and its surroundings. The climb to the top itself, is an unforgettable experience. While taking the first stairs until we reach a height of 29m, the visitors can take a look down into the church hall. After that, we will walk a steep ramp and take the stairs for the last few meters again, until we reach the viewing plattform in 67m height.

Our tour will be guided, providing us with valuable information about the history of the church.

Our meeting point will be the statue of Martin Luther in front of the church. It’s located in the centre of the Neumarkt, which is a large square next to the church.

Registration starts: Monday 6th February, 10 a.m.
